In order to weld, we require all students to come in dressed appropriately to weld. This includes wearing long pants (NO SHORTS), leather-toed shoes, and have their long hair tied up (if it applies).

If you are not dressed appropriately, you will need to rent welding overalls for a $25 fee. Shoe covers are available upon necessity. All other PPE such as a welding jacket, welding hood, safety glasses, welding gloves, shields, etc. will be provided by MetalMakers and is included in your class cost.

All classes, workshops and courses are NON-REFUNDABLE IF CANCELLED BY THE ATTENDEE, no exceptions. Please be mindful of this before permanently booking your class. Class size is limited to 10 students, with a minimum of 3 students. MetalMakers reserves the right to reschedule any class if the minimum number of students is not met. If a rescheduling occurs, we will offer you a different date for your class up to one year.

This all depends on whether you’re taking a project class (1.5-8 hours), a professional development class (8 or 30 hours), or a women, welding & wine class (3 hours).

Each booking is good for one person only. If you bring additional guests under 1 booking, they will need to wait in the lobby. For kids classes, parents are welcome to watch their child during their first class in case of any behavioral issues. If you’d like to make 1 project with one other person, please view our Duo classes. If you’d like to bring more people to make several projects with you, please contact us to book a party class.

All of our classes are for ages 6+. For non-kids classes, the child must be accompanied by an adult.

No, you do not need prior experience to weld at our school. The beauty of our school is that you can grab the welding gun with no prior experience! In each class, you’ll learn safety procedures that will allow you to adequately perform welding techniques.

We are ready to provide you with all PPE (personal protective equipment) necessary. We encourage students to bring a water bottle due to the hot temperatures while welding.
